I like the dish cloth that comes with the pot holder a lot! I have used and washed it several times. I'm not tickled about the color of the light greenish side on the pot holder. I wish it was the silver color, but other than that I like it too. The graphic is nice.My MIL loved it. This song has a special meaning to my husband’s family. She keeps it out for decor.While this is a cute set, I don't know if it's actually worth the price I paid. I purchased it as decor, so I don't actually use it for its intended purpose. It doesn't seem like it would hold up long-term through washing and so forth. It just goes with my coffee themed kitchen and looks nice hanging up.This “I Love Paris” gift set is an adorable 2-piece set with a Paris themed 100% cotton potholder and complimentary striped towel. This contemporary looking set is decorative and will match a range of kitchen decors as it has such a nice array of muted colors in the potholder with a muted black and white striped towel. I have a lot of red and black in my kitchen, and the set looks great. The potholder has sweet details, such as a well dressed bull dog, hearts, the iconic Eiffel Tower, wine glasses, flowers and so on. This set is good quality, and the stitching all looks well done on both pieces.The towel is a thinner style that I covet as it doesn’t hog space, yet it’s still absorbent. I mostly use it for hand drying glasses and dishes that come out of the dishwasher damp or I’ve hand washed, or I rest wet item on it (over a pad) to air dry odds and ends. The potholder is a mitt design for your hand but only protective enough for lower heat pans or panhandles, which I consider typical of cotton potholders. I only use silicone gloves for high heat, such as taking a pizza pan out of a 450 degree oven and so on. This potholder is so cute I like it best for resting a hot plate on the table.I’ve washed the towel, and it came out fine. I haven’t washed the potholder as most cotton potholders never look as good as when they’re new, and I like this one for its decorative value as much or more than its function. I’ll wash it when it looks dirty on cold, delicate and dry it flat. Based on other cotton potholders in this brand, I suspect it will wrinkle and need ironing if I want to try and regain that crisp look out of the package, but it’s unlikely to ever look exactly as it does brand new. If it surprises me in that way I’ll update. Still, I love this set, and it’s very gifty. 5 stars. Made in India.This Paris themed pot holder and towel gift set are so cute! The colors are bright and vivid and the color scheme goes very well together. Between the tangerine orange, pale green, maroon and blues it makes it easy to match to any existing kitchen decor.The pot holder is a basic cotton blend with blue outlining and a color I'd describe as tangerine orange on the inside. There's a nicely drawn picture of the Eiffel tower with the word Paris next to it in a squiggly font. I have the pot holder hung on my kitchen wall for decoration so I can't speak to how effective it is at handling heat.The dish towel is a flour sack type with black and white stripes. I don't find it to be very absorbent so I use it for decoration purposes as well.Both are decent quality, a step up from ones you'd buy at a dollar store but nothing fancy. They're appealing to the eye and would make a nice little housewarming gift.The pot holder is decorative and easy to use (hold on to). The only thing was the dishtowel as it was bigger than I'm used to using, it was more like a large hand towel. I used right out of the plastic and maybe should have washed it as it was slow to get wet all the way. I'm not sure that I will gift this to someone because as I stated the dishtowel was overly large and didn't look like a dish towel and when you get it wet it's almost like it waterproof but maybe that's because it needed to be washed first. I'm giving it 4 stars because the pot holder is really cute.I like this, I like it a lot. The pot holder is adorable, but after washing in cold water it kind of shriveled up and needed some stretching to come back to shape. It may have shrunk a bit, but I can't be positive. I like the towel, it's a nice match to the pot holder, but different at the same time - a nice contrast. The towel is very generous, much larger than a standard kitchen towel, and a nice stretchy knit. It looks perfect hanging on the stove handle. I washed that also, and it came out like a dream and looks like new. The gray/white stripes are a nice contrast to my white stove and gray smooth top range.What a cute & well-made set. My first thought was that it’d be perfect for a bridal shower but I’m not going to part with it! I have the Italian chef theme in my kitchen & these fit in perfectly. In the picture the stripe part above the Eiffel tower is the towel. It unfolds to a large 18 x 28. It’s cotton but doesn’t feel thin like so many cotton kitchen towels do. All of the edges are finished & if there’s any drawback, the back of the towel isn’t lined & the it’s just the back side of the pretty stripe. There’s no other design—just the stripe. The potholder is 9 x 8 & the pocket where the towel was is for the hand. It’s easier & safer to grab hot pans. In the picture, you can’t tell but the pink swirl in the corners & the “Paris” are embroidered. All edges are finished & lined & it can be hung up. Really good quality & cute!
