Absolutely love this knife. The knife is beautiful. The weight and ergonomics of this knife feels fantastic. Feels great in your hand and is very sharp. I wish it had a sheath or something other than the box to store. Right now I am washing it and putting it back in the box. This is not functionional since I use it everyday. I am looking for a sheath or something to protect the tips do not get ruined.I bought this knife for my wife because the utility knife in our knife set broke.After using it for the last couple of months, she said that she absolutely loves this knife. She uses it for multiple tasks when preparing meals or dishes. She said that it is the best knife she has ever owned or used.This knife is gorgeous. Five starsThis Yimikia 7 Inch Santoku Knife it's really one of those miracle knives as it's so useful for not only a chef knife but for many other things including slicing and chopping fruit. The blade is very sharp and made from a very premium steel, the handle is well fitted and the whole assembly well balanced. So much so that I can balance it on a single finger with very minimal effort. On that note it's almost a piece of art.For the overall quality and usefulness this is really an excellent value and really one of my new favorite pieces in my collection. It is very well made and has a great feel to it. I really like the elegant ebony wooden handle it is very comfortable and you have a good grip on holding it. It is the right size for cutting vegetables and fruit and raw meat and the sharpness of the blade is amazing. Easy peasy chopping and dicing makes me wonder how I got by using old steak knives. I really like this knife and want to keep it nice and sharp so I hand wash it after each use, and store it on a magnetic wall strip to keep it sharp and not banging against other utensils.The 5.5 inch size of this utility knife ensures it will be used daily. It's great for smaller slicing jobs and general kitchen prep, not just peeling. It is an example of how Chinese products can be well made, using quality raw materials and care. Some of the Chinese knife brands are garbage, but this is a very nice knife. The fit and finish are very good; joints are smooth and the knife has good balance, is easy to grip, and is beautiful to look at as well as being wickedly sharp.
